Receptionist

The old adage is true: “You never get a second chance to make a first impression.” Our receptionists are our customer care specialists. The way they greet and serve clients is a reflection on the entire practice.

Candidates for this position must enjoy working with people and must perform well in a demanding, fast-paced environment. They must also have good computer skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Training is usually a six month process. New employees are taught our computer and phone systems, our medical records system, basic pharmacology, and how to admit and discharge patients. They also learn the correct responses for a number of common pet-related questions.

Our front desk is staffed from 7:30am to 11pm Monday through Friday, from 7:30am to 5pm on Saturday, and from 7:30am to 2pm on Sunday.
