Veterinary Technician

Our veterinary technicians must be licensed by the state of Connecticut. They work directly under the supervision of our doctors and are responsible for manning our in-house laboratory and our radiology department; they also work in our treatment rooms, provide nursing care, and assist in surgeries.

To qualify for this position, candidates must have strong technical, communication, and computer skills. They must have a basic knowledge of pharmacology, be able to handle pressure, and work well as part of a team.

Our technicians work in shifts from 7am to 11pm, or later, seven days a week. We strongly encourage continuing education and provide ample opportunities for growth and development.
