This class is a continuation of the basic training you have already had in Family Dog I

Class Description:

We will be concentrating on stays with our sits, downs, and stands, loose leash walking, recalls and attention exercises.  Emphasis is working towards off leash control, stronger and more secure recalls both at greater distance and with distractions, quicker responses to commands with distractions, hand signals and varying food rewards.  We will also incorporate games and tricks.  At the end of the 6 weeks we will offer the canine good citizen test or CGC.  The CGC is the foundation of many of the therapy dog tests.

This class should give you a well behaved dog, and a good starting point for other activities such as agility, rally-o, competitive obedience, water, and therapy.
